Personal Health Sessions

Many people want to make changes in their lifestyle and eating practices but are not looking to be on a traditional or healing-focused macrobiotic diet.

In order to offer support and guidance to those with a wide variety of needs and eating preferences, David offers informative, non-judgmental 50-minute sessions to help you explore and then take steps in a healthy direction based on your currently preferred way of eating.

Fee: Each of the following sessions is $85 and lasts for 50 minutes. The sessions can be done in person or by phone. Longer sessions and follow-up can be arranged for an additional fee.

1. The Junk Food Junkie's Transition to Better Eating


Would you like to eat healthier without being a "health nut?" If you have wanted to make changes in a healthier direction, but have found it difficult to change quickly or radically, or you have found yourself feeling stuck in addictive food patterns and fluctuating cravings, this session is for you. We will take a look at where you would like to go in your choices, and create steps that get you there and help your changes last.




2. Power Vegetarian and Power Vegan Eating


This consultation is designed for vegetarians and vegans of all persuasions who want to be sure their daily food selection and preparation is as balanced and nourishing as possible. The ethical choices behind vegetarian and vegan eating can be supported and rounded out by adding healthy principles of balance. Then your diet will not only be kind to animals and good for the earth, but also kind to your own body and supportive of your personal health and well being.




3. The Natural Foods/Whole Foods Consultation


This consultation is popular with natural foods and whole foods enthusiasts who are not vegetarian, vegan or macrobiotic but who are looking for ways to create additional balance in their preferred way of eating. We will look carefully at how you like to eat and within that find ways to make it even healthier and more satisfying.




4. For the Curious Carnivore Who Wants to Include Whole Foods


If you'd like to make steady steps that include many of the new and healthy food practices, but are not wanting to eliminate animal foods, this session has been designed to offer solid guidance. Learn how to place animal foods in a supportive rather than central position in your eating pattern. Then, we'll plan how you can begin to include fresh, tasty and beneficial plant foods that contribute to lower cholesterol, weight loss and energy endurance. You'll learn how to do this in a way that works.
